Adam McDougal
Co-Founder
Adam McDougal is a co-founder of Enigma Forge IO, where he leads the firm's data intelligence practice and its product line. His focus is the infrastructure that lets organizations put AI to work on their own information: cleaning and connecting data across systems so it is secure, governed, and ready for use with any large language model, without the cost of an ERP implementation. He has delivered that work for clients in aerospace and defense, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and private equity, including ITAR-compliant deployments.
Adam's consulting engagements span the full strategic sourcing lifecycle. He has run analytics across billions of dollars in indirect and direct spend, built supplier concentration and renegotiation targeting models, and developed automated intelligence platforms that ingest raw ERP data. He has also designed tool suites with hundreds of purpose-built functions for sourcing, quoting, and trade compliance.
Before consulting, he spent eight years as a data architect at large academic medical centers. There, he designed institutional data assets, built automation pipelines for external payer and clinical data, implemented predictive models for readmissions and patient deterioration, and led a team of analysts supporting quality, safety, and financial initiatives across multiple hospital campuses. His work has been published in the American Journal of Medical Quality.
Adam holds an M.S. in Information Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from UNLV. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
